We are Communicycle, a group of people united by our love for two-wheeled transportation and the communities of Chamblee and Doraville on the northeast side of metro Atlanta. We ride bikes for transportation and for fun. We fix broken bikes. We repair and redistribute donated bikes to folks who need transportation. In short, we get people rolling, and have good times in the midst of it.
During our open shop hours, anyone is welcome to come use our tools and supplies to tune up their bikes. If you need help, one of our volunteers will be glad to show you how to diagnose the problems and get the bicycle back up and running. Need a bike? For a small donation, you can participate in our earn-a-bike program, through which you will learn basic repair and maintenance skills as you build a bicycle from the frame up. The Communicycle shop is located in the Communitas Building at 5976 Peachtree Rd., Chamblee, GA 30341. The entrance to the shop is around the side. Look for the parked cars during our open shop hours.
